Job summary

Chesterton Academy of St. George is seeking an Executive Director to lead the administrative team, with responsibility for daily operations, fundraising, finances, and long-range planning.

The role requires strong Catholic mission alignment and collaboration with the Headmaster and Board of Directors. The Executive Director must demonstrate leadership that inspires excellence across all stakeholder groups and promote Chesterton’s integrated curriculum and culture of life.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in administration.
• Secondary school administrative experience preferred.
• Familiarity with the mission of Chesterton Academy and the Catholic Church teachings.
• Working knowledge of institutional advancement.

Responsibilities

• Lead institutional advancement and fundraising activities to meet and exceed fundraising goals.
• Daily operations including finance, human resources, facilities management, public relations.
• Maintain and implement policies and programs with the Headmaster to integrate the school founders' philosophy and mission.
• Implement policies and directives of the Board of Directors.
• Oversee and facilitate long-range planning.
• Provide input and direction for the Board of Directors and plan and implement Board formation strategies.
• Provide public relations activities that maintain positive communication with key constituents.
• Provide financial procedures that provide information to the Board and stability to Chesterton Academy.
