Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Nursing, Social Work, Hospital and Health Administration, Public Health, or Business Administration, or related field.
• Active license to practice nursing (RN) in the State of Iowa, or LISW certification.
• 7+ years of progressive clinical leadership and administrative experience in a large, complex healthcare organization.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills for a collaborative environment.
• Expertise in performance management, financial management, data analysis, HR and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial oversight of Care Coordination including MTD, YTD, Budget, Capital, and reporting.
• Ensure department activities stay within allocated funds and monitor variances.
• Develop and support capital budget requests, contract development, and policy updates as related to the office of the CMO.
• Lead cost accounting, rate setting, and patient support fund usage.
• Use metrics to drive cost-effective resource allocations and improve patient flow.
• Lead initiatives to improve length of stay, throughput, and overall efficiency.
