YMCA Camp Collins seeks anExecutive Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for its premier resident camp and education center. You will report to the COO and drive program excellence, financial sustainability, safety, and asset strategy.

The role emphasizes philanthropic growth, equity in access, and a strong leadership bench, with on-site housing and year-round oversight of mission-critical programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive leadership in camp management, outdoor education, youth development, or nonprofit operations.
• Experience in crisis leadership, risk management, and emergency response coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and long-range financial planning.
• Develop multi-year revenue growth strategies across camp programs and rentals.
• Partner with COO and CFO on financial reporting and capital planning.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and youth protection standards.
• Cultivate philanthropy, steward donors, and oversee scholarship strategies.
• Develop leadership bench and seasonal talent pipeline.
