Job summary

Janux Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking an Executive Director, Process Development & Manufacturing to lead strategic and technical efforts across cell line development, culture, and downstream purification for clinical manufacturing and late-stage programs.

You will oversee internal teams and external CDMOs to establish robust, scalable manufacturing processes and drive lifecycle management, technology transfer, and global regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. required with 12+ years in biotech/biopharma OR MS with substantial industry experience.
• Strong leadership experience, building and mentoring high-performing technical teams.
• Extensive experience in biologics process development, mammalian cell culture, and downstream purification.
• Proven ability to work across functions and lead regulatory and CDMO interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership for cell line, cell culture, and downstream process development for drug substance manufacturing.
• Lead development of scalable, phase-appropriate manufacturing processes with focus on yield, quality, and cost.
• Oversee technology transfer to CDMOs, aseptic fill/finish, and DP campaigns.
• Manage late-stage process development, characterization, control strategy, and regulatory readiness.
