Job summary

Ransomville Manor, a 142-bed Adult Care Facility with ALP and Memory Care, seeks an experienced Administrator to lead daily operations. You will be the on-site leader, ensuring regulatory compliance, resident wellbeing, census and revenue, staff development, and a positive culture.

This is a hands‑on leadership role; you will be visible on the floor, interact with residents and families, and ensure every action aligns with policy and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in adult care, nursing home, or senior living.
• Experience as Administrator/Executive Director in NY adult home or assisted living preferred.
• Licensed NY Nursing Home Administrator or related degree preferred.
• Memory care/ALP experience or Special Needs ALR certification preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and census systems preferred.
• Proven track record of census growth and staff retention encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements.
• Serve as primary contact for NYSDOH surveyors; manage inspections and plans of correction.
• Maintain resident records, admission agreements, and service plans.
• Oversee admissions, retention, and discharges to meet licensed scope.
• Lead staffing, training, and performance reviews for department heads and staff.
• Represent the residence with regulators, referral partners, and community organizations.
