Job summary

Carefree Living in Silver Bay, MN seeks an Executive Director/Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) to drive day-to-day operations of the assisted living community. You will lead clinical, administrative, dining, and environmental functions while ensuring high-quality resident-centered care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota LALD license required or ability to obtain.
• Preferred/strong background in executive leadership within assisted living.
• Solid knowledge of Minnesota assisted living regulations and operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assisted living communities, including clinical, administrative, dining, environmental and staffing functions.
• Provide leadership to managers and staff to ensure high-quality resident-centered care.
• Maintain compliance with county, state, and federal assisted living regulations.
• Partner with Director of Nursing to align services with resident care plans.
• Lead QAPI initiatives, safety programs, and operational improvements.
• Monitor census, admissions activity and CRM documentation.
• Build relationships with referral sources, hospitals, and community partners.
• Participate in budgeting and work with Executive team to grow revenue and optimize operations.
