Cayman National Cultural Foundation (CNCF) seeks a Managing Director to lead strategy, operations, fundraising, and governance for Caymanian arts and culture. You will steer financial management, cultivate partnerships, and represent CNCF with government and stakeholders.

The role requires senior nonprofit leadership experience, strong communication abilities, and the vision to advance artistic programs while ensuring legal and fiscal integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in arts disciplines, business, accounting or related field; post-graduate degree preferred.
• 5+ years of senior leadership experience in nonprofit, charitable or cultural organization is essential.
• Proven track record in developing and delivering fundraising and revenue-generation strategies.
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks, compliance and employment practices.
• Exceptional communication skills to represent the organization publicly.
• Experience overseeing organisational finances including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Knowledge of relevant government legislation is advantageous.
• Strategic planning and alignment with boards to drive change.

Responsabilités

• Set strategic direction with the CNCF Management Board; lead operations, marketing, HR, and finance; act as Government representative.
• Develop and communicate a compelling case for support and long-term vision, including the Cultural Campus project.
• Apply innovative fundraising approaches and diversify revenue beyond traditional donor solicitation.
• Lead CNCF financial management with budgets, cashflow, income statements, and expenditures.
• Create conditions for safe, compliant operations, policies and facilities.
• Oversee artistic and programmatic direction with department heads and guest directors.
• Develop partnerships and maintain stakeholder communications with the public.
