Job summary

P4A Pennsylvania Association of Area Agencies on Aging, based in Harrisburg, seeks an Executive Director to provide strategic, financial, operational, and advocacy leadership across 52 AAAs. Reporting to the Board, you will drive public policy, oversee grants and contracts, ensure fiscal integrity, and represent the Association before state and federal agencies, lawmakers, and partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent with 6-8 years of senior leadership experience.
• Experience with multi-source funding (grants, contracts, public funding) and budget oversight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with boards and membership-based organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead as Executive Director and partner with the Board on multi-year strategic plans.
• Provide policy advocacy, financial stewardship, and organizational performance oversight.
• Oversee grants, contracts, and governance while ensuring compliance and transparency.
• Lead staff development, external relations, and statewide aging network support.
