Job summary

The Pennsylvania Association of Area Agencies on Aging (P4A) seeks an Executive Director to provide strategic, financial, operational, and advocacy leadership for 52 AAAs across Pennsylvania. You will report to the Board and drive policy, grants, and organizational growth.

Two direct reports include the Director of Finance & Operations and Director of Policy & Programs; the role is hybrid-remote with statewide travel.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or equivalent with senior leadership experience.
Experience with multi-source funding (grants, contracts, public funding) and budget oversight.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead as Executive Director and collaborate with the Board on strategic direction.
Develop multi-year strategic plans with the Board of Directors.
Advise the Board on policy, financial condition, risk management, and performance.
Prepare and present regular Board reports on strategy and fiscal status.
Provide leadership for two subsidiaries, aligning with statewide priorities.
Ensure compliance with nonprofit governance standards and laws.
Oversee grants, contracts, and government relations activities.
Manage staff performance and HR best practices.
Strengthen the statewide network of Area Agencies on Aging.
