Job summary

Lilly seeks a high-impact physician-scientist to join the Aesthetic Medicine team as Executive Medical Director, Early Clinical Development. This clinical translational leader bridges discovery science and clinical applications to drive transformational medicines for aesthetic and dermatologic treatments.

You will lead cross-functional teams, design early studies, integrate biomarker strategies, participate in regulatory strategy, and mentor junior staff while advancing a fast-moving portfolio.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board eligibility/certification in Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, or equivalent.
• US physicians must have board eligibility/certification; non-US must meet ECFMG requirements.
• 5+ years in pharma/biotech with progression to Director/Sr Director in early development.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic portfolio leadership for aesthetic medicine programs.
• Design early clinical studies and optimize trial design with cross-functional teams.
• Foster external partnerships and scientific exchange with key opinion leaders.
• Support regulatory interactions and develop IND/IDE strategies.
• Mentor junior staff and drive a culture of collaboration.
