Job summary

10X Recruitment is seeking an Executive Director for an addiction treatment center in Richmond, VA. This onsite, full-time role oversees daily operations, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and strategic growth at a residential facility in the Richmond area.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of executive or senior leadership experience in behavioral healthcare, with a strong track record of leading addiction treatment facilities and ensuring Joint Commission accreditation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of executive or senior leadership experience in substance abuse or behavioral healthcare
• Demonstrated success leading addiction treatment or behavioral health facilities
• Strong knowledge of Virginia state licensing requirements and Joint Commission accreditation
• Experience implementing and operating within the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) REQUIRED
• Strong background in business office management, operational leadership, and financial oversight
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive organizational performance
• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills

About the Opportunity

A well-established addiction treatment provider is seeking an experienced Executive Director to oversee the daily operations and long-term success of its residential treatment facility in the Richmond, Virginia area.

This executive leadership role is responsible for the overall performance of the organization, including clinical and operational excellence, regulatory compliance, financial performance, staff development, and community engagement. The ideal candidate is a proven behavioral healthcare leader with strong operational expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Position Overview

The Executive Director will provide strategic and operational leadership across all departments, ensuring high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational goals. This individual will work closely with department leaders to drive performance, strengthen culture, and support continued organizational growth.
