Job description

Massive Good (massivegood.com) (San Francisco, CA / Austin, TX)

Massive Good is a high-impact charity focused on direct, measurable support, building a new model of individualized charity, founded by John Andrew Entwistle.

Philanthropy is broadly inefficient and often overlooks individual needs. We use AI-powered intake followed by human discernment and resolution to turn a specific person's real need into a verified plan, then mobilize resources to deliver concrete help. Case by case, we deliver massive good to the world.

We are looking for a high-agency operator to take full ownership of core functions and lead the mission's growth.

The Role

You will operate in a technology-first early-stage organization: owning strategy, execution, and growth. You must be able to move between high-level decisions and hands-on work.

Core Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary case manager: review AI-assisted intakes, conduct human verification and discernment, coordinate delivery of help, and track outcomes
  • Own incoming communications and respond to emails and platform inquiries promptly
  • Lead fundraising, donor relationships, and events
  • Partner closely with the developer on platform, website, and systems improvements
  • Own financial operations end-to-end: budgeting, bookkeeping, payments, reporting, and compliance
  • Drive external communications, storytelling, and PR
  • Build and maintain internal systems and processes as the organization grows
  • Report clear progress and metrics to the board
Who You Are
  • Familiar with modern technology, software, marketing, and business
  • Seed-stage founder mentality: high-agency, self-directed, and resourceful
  • Strong execution orientation - proactive and willing to do whatever is required
  • Highly competent generalist who can handle case management, operations, finance, and external relations at a high level
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Strong with numbers and financial systems; comfortable owning the full financial picture
  • Mission-driven and pragmatic - focused on real, measurable outcomes
Nice-to-Haves
  • Prior experience founding or operating an early-stage startup, business, or high-impact organization
  • Technical aptitude (ability to work more deeply with the developer and platform is a plus)
  • Experience with lean tools and systems
  • Fundraising or event experience
