Job summary

Mocksville Senior Living and Memory Care in Mocksville, NC is seeking an experienced Executive Director to oversee daily operations, lead a compassionate team, and ensure outstanding resident care across the community.

The ideal candidate will have a healthcare admin background, strong regulatory knowledge, financial acumen, and a proven ability to recruit, develop staff, and engage residents and families while driving occupancy and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living operations.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal senior living regulations and compliance.
• Proven experience in financial management, staff development, and resident relations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid NC Assisted Living Administrator License (or ability to obtain).
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Operational leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while maintaining high standards of care.
• Team development: Recruit, hire, train, and mentor department leaders and staff to build a high-performing, engaged team; operate within budgetary guidelines.
• Resident & Family engagement: Foster strong relationships with residents and their families, ensuring high satisfaction and inclusive community.
• Financial management: Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets; monitor financial performance and control expenses.
• Regulatory compliance: Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and safety standards; readiness for inspections/audits.
• Sales & Marketing support: Partner with the sales team to drive occupancy and engage with referral sources.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with clinical leaders to ensure high-quality care and services for residents.
• Community outreach: Represent the community with local healthcare professionals and organizations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while maintaining the highest standards of care and service.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements, safety standards, and company policies. Maintain readiness for inspections and audits.
• Sales & Marketing Support: Partner with the sales team to drive occupancy, support marketing initiatives, and engage with prospective residents and referral sources.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with clinical leaders to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services that meet the evolving needs of residents.
• Community Outreach: Represent Mocksville Senior Living and Memory Care within the local community, building relationships with healthcare professionals, vendors, and civic organizations to promote the community’s visibility and reputation.
