Job summary

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Hospice Executive Director RN for the Los Angeles area. The role requires a BS or higher in a health-related field, an active RN license, and at least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in hospice or related healthcare settings.

You will travel to sites, participate in executive meetings, and lead business operations across locations, partnering with Learning & Development to support ongoing education for directors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a health-related field.
• Minimum 2 years of full-time supervisory or managerial experience in hospice, home health, primary care, or health facility within the last 5 years.
• RN license in CA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to identified sites to assist with Executive Operations.
• Participate in the Monthly and Quarterly Executive Director Meetings.
• Assist with startup operations, as assigned.
• Serving as a business operations expert for all Hospice locations.
• In collaboration with Learning & Development, assist with education and training for new Executive Directors, including continuing education for existing Executive Directors.
• Assist in reviewing the business operations reports and helping to improve processes for each site.
• Assist in interviewing potential Executive Directors, Director-Business Operations, and other operations positions as requested.
• Gather intelligence on all operational activities at local sites when visiting and bring information back to Leadership team for action plans.

AND

a minimum of 2 years of full-time supervisory or managerial experience in a hospice, home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility within the last 5 years is required for consideration.

If you meet these qualifications, we want to meet you!

• Must be a (RN) Registered Nurse licensed in practicing state
• At least 1 year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or a related health care program, 2 or more years preferred
• Experience in the business and fiscal functions in a health care setting, preferred
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order
