Job summary

The Park Theater Foundation in Glens Falls, NY seeks an energetic, hands-on Executive Director to lead budgeting, fundraising, programming, and community engagement. This role guides operations, expands reach, and advances the mission of bringing affordable, high-quality live performance to Glens Falls.

You’ll work closely with the Board to set strategic priorities, manage staff, and ensure smooth event operations while growing partnerships and audience impact.

Responsibilities

• Advance the Foundation’s mission and set strategic priorities with the Board.
• Foster a welcoming, creative culture among staff, artists, and volunteers.
• Lead fundraising across grants, sponsorships, annual giving, major gifts, and special events.
• Nurture donor relationships and uncover new funding opportunities.
• Develop and manage the annual budget, event P&Ls, and financial records.
• Supervise staff and oversee facilities.
• Serve as primary spokesperson to the community and media.
• Build partnerships and collaborate with the Marketing Director and Committee to promote shows and events.
• Coordinate bookings and theater rentals, including policies, contracts, and fees.
• Oversee technical riders, show advancing, and event-day venue management.
• Build strong relationships with artist managers, booking agencies, and performers.

You’ll be the heart and face of the Foundation, working closely with our Board of Directors to lead budgeting, fundraising, programming, community engagement, and strategic planning, and to keep every event running smoothly.
