Job summary

Bounteous, a global AI Services firm, seeks a Principal Strategist in Digital Strategy (Contract) to lead strategic engagements and drive transformative digital experiences for enterprise clients.

The role blends business strategy, customer experience, and technology, partnering with senior stakeholders across Strategy, Experience Design, Product, Data & Analytics, Technology, and Digital Marketing to define roadmaps and initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of digital strategy or related experience with enterprise clients
• Experience leading complex digital strategy and transformation engagements
• Experience with C-suite and senior executives
• Ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable digital strategies and roadmaps
• Strong understanding of CX, digital platforms, data, technology, and digital marketing ecosystems
• Experience facilitating executive workshops
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent storytelling and executive communication skills
• Bachelor's degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead development of comprehensive digital strategies and roadmaps aligned with client objectives
• Assess clients' digital capabilities, experiences, operating models, and technology ecosystems
• Identify opportunities to improve customer engagement, operations, and performance through digital transformation
• Translate objectives into actionable strategic initiatives
• Develop prioritized recommendations, investment roadmaps, and implementation strategies
• Define future-state digital experiences across channels and touchpoints
• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends for innovation and differentiation
• Serve as trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and executives
• Facilitate executive workshops and strategy discussions
• Communicate complex recommendations to business and technology audiences
• Build executive-level presentations and business cases
• Influence senior stakeholders and align across functions
• Establish strong relationships with client executives
• Develop customer-centric strategies from insights and market opportunities
• Partner with research and experience teams to understand customer needs
• Define journey improvements across digital and physical touchpoints
• Support journey mapping, experience strategy, personalization, omnichannel initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve acquisition, engagement, retention, and loyalty
• Identify opportunities to leverage data, AI, and Generative AI
• Help clients define AI-enabled transformation opportunities and viable use cases
• Coordinate with Data, AI, and Technology teams for feasibility and viability
• Evaluate emerging digital trends and their impact on client organizations
• Support AI-enabled CX and operating-model strategies
