Job summary

Responsibilities

• Directs administrative operations of the Department of Social Services (DSS).
• Supervises managers, professional, paraprofessional and support staff and directs program development.
• Monitors and evaluates program performance and initiates changes to improve effectiveness.
• Plans with the Director to ensure agency effectiveness, policy adherence, and compliance with state/federal requirements.
• Prepares and monitors budgets with the Director and Fiscal Officer; oversees contracts and funding streams.
