The Deputy Borough Manager supports the Borough Manager in directing all Borough operations, leading cross‑functional teams, and advancing strategic initiatives to improve service delivery. This senior role participates in budgeting, policy development, and performance improvement across departments.

They serve on the executive leadership team and act as Borough Manager in the Manager's absence, ensuring accountability, integrity, and responsive public service for residents.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience leading programs, operations, organizations, or major initiatives.
• 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience with organizational strategy, budgeting, policy implementation, and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating overall Borough operations.
• Serve on the executive leadership team and advise on priorities and initiatives.
• Act as Borough Manager in absence or delegated.
• Lead performance improvement and service-delivery initiatives.
• Develop and implement goals, strategic plans, and capital improvements.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement sessions with diverse groups.
