Job summary

Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah is seeking an experienced Chef to support the Fireside Restaurant and banquet services. The role focuses on production leadership, menu development, and guest satisfaction within a premier resort environment.

You will manage food and labor costs, maintain quality and consistency, and lead a team to deliver exceptional dining experiences year-round. This full-time position emphasizes production standards and seasonal staff coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the culinary field, management, or at a private club.
• Must have a current Utah State food Handler's permit and/or a Serve Safe Certificate.
• Familiar with international, domestic and special diet cuisine preparation.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and perform repetitive movements.
• Must operate kitchen equipment from simple to complex.

Responsibilities

• Assist restaurant manager with all food production, menus, and guest satisfaction for Fireside Restaurant and banquet meals.
• Control food costs through forecasting, production, and supplier relationships.
• Control labor costs, payroll, scheduling, and recruiting.
• Organize efficient production flow and staffing levels.
• Direct fellow employees and maintain food quality and presentation.
