Job summary

Kizuki International LLC is seeking a Culinary Director to drive culinary excellence, operational consistency, and menu innovation across 20+ restaurants and multiple commissary kitchens serving Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya, Supreme Dumplings, Tang Bar and Swish Swish.

This senior role requires strategic, hands-on leadership, coaching back-of-house teams, defining standards, and partnering with Operations, Procurement, Marketing, and Executive Leadership. Reports To: Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years multi-unit culinary management experience, including 3+ years in senior leadership.
• High school diploma or GED; Culinary Arts or Hospitality degree preferred.
• Strong financial knowledge: COGS, labor, budgets, and inventory systems.
• Excellent communication; ability to coach, motivate, and influence teams.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and elevate culinary standards across all locations.
• Lead cross-concept recipe standardization and menu rollout.
• Oversee food costs, labor costs, and budgets to meet targets.
• Coach chefs and kitchen managers; develop talent across brands.
• Partner with Procurement to source ingredients and ensure uptime.
• Collaborate with Marketing on product launches and storytelling.
• Ensure food safety, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Represent the company at events, tastings, and community engagements.
