Job summary

Kizuki International LLC in Redmond, WA is seeking a Director Of Construction to lead multiple restaurant projects from pre-construction through grand openings, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, and brand standards.

The role requires 10+ years in construction management, 5+ years in restaurant/retail builds, and strong vendor/architect coordination; travel to sites across states is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
• 5+ years of experience in restaurant, retail, or commercial construction.
• Proven experience managing 5+ concurrent construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial kitchen construction and equipment coordination, MEP systems, and building codes.
• Proficiency with construction management, project scheduling, and documentation software.
• Strong budgeting, cost control, estimating, and change-order management.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 8–10 concurrent restaurant construction projects.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and quality control across all locations.
• Lead ground-up builds, tenant improvements (TI), and remodels.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to meet brand standards and codes.
• Ensure timely permits, inspections, and regulatory approvals.
• Develop and manage project budgets; approve change orders; monitor financial performance.
