Job summary

City of Hope, a leading cancer research and treatment organization, seeks a Chief Operating Officer to integrate operations across the medical center and outpatient clinics and to surface and activate external business opportunities. The role leads hospital operations, patient care programs, policy development, and programs that drive patient acquisition and retention.

It requires a Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business, an advanced degree, and at least 10 years in progressive management,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in healthcare, business or related field.
10 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment.
Minimum of 5 years in an executive level role preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensures integrated operations between medical center and outpatient clinics with the operating plan.
Surface and activate suitable external business opportunities.
Drive high-quality care through cost-effective facility management.
Develop and implement hospital-wide patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
Lead programs that drive patient acquisition and retention and measure care quality.
Advise the President and CEO in strategic business planning and best practices.
