MasterCorp, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Accounting and Controller to oversee controllership and shared services in our Orlando, FL office.

This executive will ensure GAAP‑compliant financial information, strong internal controls, and scalable processes to support growth, acquisitions, lender relationships, and audits. The role requires building a high‑performing team, driving process improvements, and ensuring audit readiness while partnering with the SVP Finance and Accounting and other

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum ten years of progressive accounting and controllership leadership.
• CPA strongly preferred; active CPA, CMA, or equivalent credential.
• Experience leading payroll, accounts payable/receivable, treasury, tax, and reporting in a multi‑location setting.
• Strengthen internal controls, improve processes, and implement scalable systems.
• Hospitality or private equity‑backed environment preferred.
• Experience with Workday or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership to the Accounting organization and cross‑site teams.
• Lead controllership and shared services including payroll, AP/AR, tax, treasury, and financial reporting.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close with GAAP‑compliant reporting.
• Establish and strengthen accounting policies, controls, and system access protocols.
• Drive process improvement and automation across key finance functions.
• Oversee external reporting, audits, and covenant support.
• Collaborate with executives to prepare for financing, acquisitions, or valuations.
• Recruit and develop a high‑performing accounting and shared services team.
• Lead ERP upgrades and reporting modernization.
