Meledy Corp's client is seeking an Associate to join its Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits practice in New York. The ideal candidate will have major law firm experience advising on executive compensation and employee benefits matters, including in connection with corporate transactions.

Responsibilities include structuring and negotiating employment agreements, advising on equity and deferred compensation, handling change-in-control, severance and separation agreements, and supporting

Competenze

• 3-4 years of major law firm experience in executive compensation and employee benefits.
• Experience structuring employment agreements, equity compensation, deferred compensation, change-in-control arrangements, and severance and separation arrangements.
• Transaction experience involving M&A, IPOs, and other sale or liquidity transactions.
• Experience advising a range of clients, including private and public companies, startups, private equity, and senior executives.
• Specific knowledge of Internal Revenue Code Sections 409A, 280G, and 83(b) is desirable.
• Excellent academic credentials & Law school transcript will be required.
• Admission to the New York or New Jersey Bar.

Compensation

• Expected salary range: $260,000-$310,000 for candidates in class years 2022-2023
