Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Associate to join its Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Group in New York City. The ideal candidate will bring 3-4 years of major firm experience structuring complex employment and equity arrangements for a diverse client base.

Duties include structuring employment agreements, equity compensation plans, deferred compensation, and change in control arrangements; negotiating severance and separation packages for senior executives and private equity

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of major firm experience handling executive compensation matters.
• Bar admission in NY or NJ.
• Experience representing private companies, startups, private equity firms, and senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Structure employment agreements, equity compensation plans, deferred compensation, and change in control arrangements.
• Negotiate severance and separation packages for senior executives and private equity clients.
• Support private and public company M&A transactions, IPOs, and other sale and liquidity events.
