Job summary

UChicago Medicine seeks a Compensation Consultant to join the Compensation Department, focusing on Executive Compensation. This primarily work-from-home role requires onsite visits as needed, with the option to reside outside the greater Chicagoland area.

You will handle daily compensation activities, annual processes, and ad-hoc projects, consulting with internal/external clients and vendors to interpret compensation programs and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Finance or related field.
• 7–10 years’ human resources compensation experience with knowledge of applicable federal laws and regulations.
• 2–3 years with Human Resource Information Systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Executive Programs and broad-based compensation areas.
• Assist with management data for annual and long-term incentive plans.
• Administer daily compensation activities and participate in market data surveys.
• Provide guidance on compensation programs, policies and procedures.
• Assist in training management and participate in union negotiations as needed.
• Audit data, ensure data integrity and optimize workflows with HRIT.
