Job Description

We are seeking an Executive Compensation Associate to join our Silicon Valley, New York, San Francisco, Santa Monica, or Boston office.

Responsibilities:

• Work on eclectic executive compensation matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public company offerings and reporting obligations, and general advising and counseling.
• Assist with issues related to Sections 409A, 280G, 83, and 421‑424 of the U.S. tax code and securities laws governing employee incentives.
• Collaborate with internal and external clients to structure and implement compensation plans.
• Provide legal analysis and advice on complex compensation transactions.

Qualifications:

• Four (4) to six (6) years of experience in executive compensation matters.
• Strong background in U.S. tax and securities law relating to employee incentives.
• Superior academic credentials and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Admission in jurisdiction of application is required.

Benefits and Compensation Details

Temporary employees are generally not entitled to these benefits. The anticipated salary range for this position is $310,000 - $390,000. The actual base salary may vary based on qualifications, experience, education, credentials, and location. A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may be available based on performance.
