Job summary

LMU seeks a Senior Director of Executive Communications for the EVP/COO to shape and manage the executive agenda across the MarComm division. You will craft messaging, briefs, speeches, and external content, translating complex matters into clear, audience‑appropriate communications that support institutional priorities.

Lead executive visibility programs, change communications, and risk messaging, while partnering with senior leaders to ensure consistency across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, English, marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible communications experience, including senior leadership support.
• Exceptional writing, editing, executive storytelling, and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to translate complex operational information into clear, audience-appropriate communications.
• Experience using AI tools and emerging technologies to improve workflows while upholding ethics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal communications strategist for the EVP/COO.
• Develop annual, quarterly, and initiative-specific communication roadmaps.
• Create executive visibility strategies through speaking engagements and digital platforms.
• Lead voice development and consistent editorial standards.
• Coordinate with MarComm and other units for cohesive messaging.
