Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Director of Executive Communications to scale our global Executive Communications Program and tell the story of our co-founder and President. This role will drive the narrative strategy, train leadership spokespeople, and integrate AI tools to amplify productivity and impact across internal and external channels.

We expect 10+ years in executive communications, a translator mindset for technical and business audiences, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

10+ years in executive communications for CEOs or public figures
Translator between technical and mainstream audiences
AI-forward mindset using AI tools to scale workflows
Programmatic and project management across global teams
Impeccable writing and presentation skills for executive talks
Proactive, agile, and highly organized with a global mindset
Willingness to travel internationally

Responsibilities

Lead all communications for the Office of the President, including media relations, speaking engagements and employee communications
Build and scale the Executive Communications Program with core playbooks and training
Translate highly technical concepts for mainstream business audiences without losing rigor
Champion and integrate generative AI tools to research, draft, and scale executive content
Plan and prepare the executive for appearances, events, and communications-focused engagements
Craft compelling executive messaging, narratives, keynotes, op-eds across channels
Collaborate with admin, PR, IR, and Employee Comms to align brand narratives across leadership
