Job summary

Takeda is seeking a seasoned communications leader for the Plasma-derived therapies (PDT) team in Cambridge, MA. The hybrid position requires regular onsite work in Cambridge, MA, with no full remote option. You will craft narratives for media, investor forums, and corporate sites, guiding storytelling

Qualifications

  • 10+ years communications experience with focus in life sciences.
  • Strategic business partner able to translate business info for all audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills.
  • Creative writer with ability to tailor narratives for stakeholders.
  • Experience in healthcare/bio-pharma and social media is preferred.
  • Ability to work with senior executives and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a global corporate communications plan for PDT BU.
  • Lead PDT thought leadership activations aligned with governance priorities.
  • Develop executive engagement plans and speaking opportunities.
  • Partner with the PDT President and leadership to elevate visibility.
  • Oversee compelling narratives across social media, websites, and media.
  • Collaborate with Global Corporate Communications and Governance teams.
  • Manage media and speaker training programs for PDT Leaders.
  • Assist in issues management with PDT Public Affairs and partners.
  • Evaluate communications impact and drive audience engagement.
  • Oversee external vendor relationships and value delivery.
