Job summary

Weyerhaeuser is seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer to lead security governance, risk management, and incident response aligned with business objectives and sustainability goals. You will drive a comprehensive security program, oversee architecture in cloud and on‑prem environments, and advise executives on cyber risk and AI initiatives.

The role reports to the CIO and requires strategic leadership, strong communication skills, and a track record of building resilient

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive information security leadership
• 10+ years leading an information security team
• Experience in manufacturing environments and AI familiarity preferred
• Expert level skills in IAM, cloud security, vulnerability management and regulatory compliance
• Strong communication, strategic thinking and executive stakeholder management
• Knowledge of SOX and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop an information security strategy aligned to growth and priorities.
• Design and manage a comprehensive security program across assets and processes.
• Align cybersecurity investments with risk appetite and regulatory demands.
• Advise senior leadership on cyber risk and emerging threats.
• Translate security requirements into business plans and drive execution.
• Monitor threats and technologies to inform strategic direction.
• Lead governance, policy development and audit readiness across the enterprise
• Oversee security architecture, cloud and hybrid environments
