Job summary

San Francisco Compute is seeking a Chief of Staff to the CEO to act as a partner and force multiplier for high-impact priorities. The role blends operations and execution, aligning leadership on decisions and delivering measurable outcomes. Hybrid work requires up to five days in-person in our San Francisco office.

You will drive cross-functional initiatives, translate priorities into action, and ensure timely follow-through with key owners and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong technical fluency to engage with Engineering, GTM, and Product leaders.
• Experience operating in high-growth environments where priorities evolve quickly.
• High-agency operator who owns outcomes and follows through.
• Trusted, discreet, and able to handle sensitive information.
• Strong communicator who aligns internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO to execute goals and vision.
• Identify bottlenecks, structure problems, and drive actionable plans.
• Translate decisions into clear actions for leadership alignment.
• Develop understanding of business, market, and deal dynamics for strategic discussions.
• Represent the CEO in key internal and external conversations.
