Belmont Village Rancho Santa Fe is opening a Chef Manager role to lead a restaurant-style culinary operation within a luxury senior living community. You will oversee kitchen leadership, food quality, menu execution, team development, food safety, purchasing, inventory management, and resident dining satisfaction.

This leadership role suits an experienced Chef Manager or Executive Chef with a background in upscale restaurants, luxury hotels, resorts, or healthcare settings who strives for dining

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• ServSafe certificate is required or must be obtained.
• Formal culinary training through a degree or certificate program is required.
• Must communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet dining program needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food service compliance and ensure quality and productivity.
• Ensure recipe consistency and adapt for special events.
• Drive resident satisfaction through dining service excellence.
• Manage food ordering and inventory to control costs.
• Train staff on safety, food handling, and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with leadership to align with goals.
• Lead staffing, interviewing, hiring, and coaching.
