Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Chef Manager for Zime Bistro at Christiana Wilmington Hospital in Wilmington, DE. You will lead culinary operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting, ensuring quality, menu execution and sanitation while directing the culinary team.

You will drive standardization, team development and innovative menus that meet client needs and nutritional standards, while managing procurement, scheduling, and cost controls to deliver outstanding dining experiences for patients, visitors

Qualifications

Extensive experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environments.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with staff development.
Advanced menu planning aligned with client preferences and nutrition standards.
Very organized with attention to detail and proficiency with computer systems to streamline operations.
Proven problem-solving skills and ability to implement processes for productivity and consistency.
ServSafe certification and solid HACCP knowledge to ensure food safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

Oversee Zime Bistro operations, ensuring quality, menu execution, inventory and sanitation.
Lead and develop culinary team, mentor staff and drive continuous improvement.
