Job summary

Hollywood Casino Joliet, in partnership with Sorellina by Giada, is seeking an Executive Chef to lead all culinary operations. This role protects the restaurant’s culinary identity, delivers exceptional food quality and presentation, and develops a high‑performing culinary team.

You will provide leadership across back‑of‑house kitchens, ensure recipes, menus, and brand standards are consistently executed, collaborate with the General Manager on guest experiences, budgeting, and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or Hospitality preferred.
• 7+ years in culinary leadership, including exec chef experience.
• Experience in high-volume, upscale or luxury dining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for back-of-house culinary operations.
• Ensure recipes, menus, plating standards and brand expectations are met.
• Collaborate with General Manager to deliver guest experiences and manage budgets and cost controls.
• Lead recruitment, development and retention of kitchen staff.
• Maintain compliance with health codes, sanitation, and safety standards.
