Job summary

Nbutexas in Oak Brook, IL is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead a diverse, multi-outlet culinary operation at a distinctive upscale boutique hotel.

You will shape the culinary vision, develop menus, elevate the guest experience, build strong teams, and own the numbers across upscale dining, lounge, in-room dining, and events.

This hands-on leadership role requires 5+ years in Executive Chef roles, with banquet, catering, menu engineering, and profitability track record.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Executive Chef experience in upscale hotels or luxury venues.
• Proven leadership across multiple culinary outlets.
• Strong banquet and catering experience.
• Scratch-cooking background and upscale restaurant experience.
• Creative menu development with seasonal innovation.
• Ability to lead and develop Sous Chefs and culinary teams.
• Hands-on management of food cost, labor, purchasing, and inventory.
• Balance creativity with profitability and operational discipline.
• Italian culinary experience is a plus.
