Job summary

Unidine in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an Executive Chef to lead daily kitchen operations, including recruiting, training, and food preparation, with hands-on involvement to deliver show‑quality meals while optimizing labor and food costs.

You will develop menus using seasonal ingredients, supervise cooks, ensure safety and sanitation, and drive resident and client satisfaction through strong leadership and financial discipline.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
• Extensive catering experience a plus
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience
• ServSafe certified - highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead daily culinary production and ensure food safety, quality and sanitation.
• Supervise and develop kitchen staff, set performance standards and monitoring.
• Drive menu development, use seasonal ingredients and create specials.
• Maintain purchasing, receiving and food storage standards while controlling costs.
