Job summary

Unidine, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking an Executive Chef for Saint Paul, MN to lead daily kitchen operations, recruit and train staff, and deliver show-quality meals while managing safety and budget.

You will drive menu development, control food costs, ensure compliance with sanitation standards, and mentor a diverse culinary team to exceed resident, client, and company expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Strong knowledge of food trends, production, sanitation and cost control.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools and hospitality software.
• ServSafe certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily culinary production and ensure food quality, safety, and presentation.
• Develop menus, seasonal specials, and sourcing strategies.
• Manage budgets, food costs, labor, and inventory.
• Coach, train and empower staff to achieve performance standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and uphold company service standards.
