Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group seeks an Executive Chef to lead the culinary and dining operations across its senior living communities. Responsibilities include retail sales, events planning, food costs, inventory control, safety and sanitation, and ensuring high resident, customer and employee satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor's or related culinary degree, 4+ years in culinary management, leadership, menu development, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related culinary degree.
• Certified Executive Chef preferred.
• Minimum four years of industry and culinary management experience.
• Proven leadership abilities and strong organization skills.
• Experience in menu development and pricing.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Achieve 100% resident satisfaction through plate presentation and taste.
• Establish presentation techniques and ensure quality standards.
• Hire, coach, train, and direct culinary staff; manage scheduling and reviews.
• Develop Sous Chef and Lead Cook for leadership duties.
• Control food costs, labor costs, and standardize recipes for consistency.
• Oversee safety, sanitation, and equipment maintenance.
