Job summary

Hotel Zelos, part of Sage Hospitality Group in San Francisco, is seeking an experienced kitchen leader to plan and manage the procurement, production, and presentation of all hotel food in a safe, sanitary environment.

You will oversee a high-volume operation, including banquets and restaurant service, hire and develop staff, monitor budgets and food costs, and drive menus and programs while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Post high school education beyond two years but without a four-year degree.
• Five to ten years of related kitchen management experience.
• Strong communication and safety compliance skills.
• Ability to plan menus and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement, production, and presentation of hotel food in a safe, sanitary environment.
• Manage kitchen staff and operations for events and restaurant service.
• Recommend menu and procedural changes; manage budgets and labor costs.
• Ensure sanitation and regulatory compliance; uphold quality standards.
• Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen teams.
