Eurest, part of Compass Group USA, seeks an Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations in Hillsboro, Oregon. You will oversee meal preparation, ensure safety, and drive quality in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Ideal candidates have hands‑on culinary expertise, strong leadership, and a focus on cost control, menu planning, and staff development within corporate dining settings.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years progressive culinary/kitchen management.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience.
• Hands-on chef experience required.
• Knowledge of food trends and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards; uses production worksheets and waste logs.
• Trains kitchen staff in food prep, safety and sanitation per company and regs.
• Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas.
• Maintains inventory to stay within guidelines and ensure availability.
• Decides on utilization of leftover food within guidelines.
• Complies with health and safety regs and audits.
• Follows safety policies and participates in meetings and programs.
