EXECUTIVE CHEF II - KOREAN CUISINE - Hyundai - Montgomery AL

Join our team as an Executive Chef II - Korean Cuisine at Hyundai in Montgomery, AL, with Flik Hospitality Group. We are seeking an experienced culinary professional passionate about authentic Korean dishes.

Job Summary

Responsible for preparing and producing Korean cuisine according to menus and recipes, maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. The role involves managing a team, controlling costs, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment, primarily Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and cook Korean dishes with authentic flavor profiles consistently.
  2. Manage food costs and contribute to P&L success.
  3. Establish strong vendor relationships.
  4. Maintain sanitation and safety standards.
  5. Oversee station setup, food presentation, and team execution.
  6. Assist in other operational areas as needed.
Minimum Requirements
  • Extensive experience managing a culinary team of up to 5 people.
  • Proven experience in a high-volume, prep-intensive environment serving up to 500 meals daily.
  • Fluent in Korean; proficiency in English is highly desirable.
  • Positive attitude, effective time management, and professional presentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
