Premier Global Links LLC in Johnson City, TN, seeks an Executive Chef to lead a large university dining operation. This hands-on leadership role oversees quality, menu development, production, catering, training, and cost control in a high-volume setting.

The ideal candidate will drive innovation, manage a diverse team, and ensure HACCP and food safety standards are maintained while delivering exceptional dining experiences for students, faculty, staff, and guests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years of management experience in food service or culinary operations.
• 3+ years of functional experience in restaurants, catering, institutional dining, university dining, or similar food service environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing food and labor costs, P&L, and budgets.
• Experience managing catering operations from planning through execution.
• Experience leading and training culinary teams.
• Working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, and production systems.
• Strong HACCP and food safety knowledge.
• Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily culinary operations across a large university dining program.
• Develop menus, recipes, and culinary concepts that meet diverse customer needs.
• Ensure food quality, recipe compliance, presentation, and production standards.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop culinary and utility staff.
• Manage catering operations from planning through execution.
• Partner with catering, retail, and management teams to deliver high-quality events and services.
• Manage food costs, labor costs, budgets, and operational performance.
• Use food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems effectively.
• Drive culinary innovation and continuous improvement across dining operations.
• Monitor and maintain HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and physical safety standards.
• Build strong relationships with customers, clients, staff, and university stakeholders.
• Support customer satisfaction, brand standards, and overall dining program success.
