Job summary

Legends Global in Huntington, West Virginia, is seeking an Executive Chef for the Food & Beverage department. The role reports to the Assistant General Manager and leads kitchen operations for high-volume events at Marshall Health Arena.

You will develop menus with seasonal ingredients, ensure health code compliance, manage labor and costs, hire and train kitchen staff, and collaborate with client services to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 8 years culinary experience in high-volume facility producing meals for large events.
• Serve-Safe certification required.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop menus to keep pace with industry trends and seasonal ingredients for catering and concessions.
• Inspect recipe compliance and ensure quality control throughout production.
• Maintain health department score of 90 or above.
• Create production schedules to meet business demands.
• Manage department budget to meet labor and cost goals.
• Hire and train kitchen and stewarding staff and ensure health department regulations are followed.
