We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at our fine dining restaurant in Akron As the Executive Chef you will oversee all aspects of food preparation menu planning and kitchen operations The ideal candidate must have a passion for creating innovative and high-quality dishes as well as strong leadership skills to manage and motivate our culinary team

Responsibilities

• Create and design menus that are both creative and financially viable
• Oversee all aspects of food preparation ensuring high quality and consistency
• Train and manage kitchen staff including scheduling performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations
• Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop new dishes and improve existing ones
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen at all times
• Maintain a clean organized and efficient kitchen environment

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant setting
• Proven track record of creating innovative menus that meet customer expectations while maintaining profitability
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train motivate and manage a team effectively
• Extensive knowledge of ingredients cooking techniques flavor profiles and food presentation
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with restaurant management team

Education

A degree in culinary arts or related field is preferred but not required

Salary

• $1400 per month negotiable based on experience
