Take the lead as the Executive Chef & B at Embassy Suites by Hilton Miami Airport, where your culinary expertise and vision will redefine our guest experience. In this dynamic role, you'll oversee both the F&B as well as the culinary program, crafting innovative menus and beverage pairings that cater to a diverse clientele. Collaborate with a talented team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Miami Airport, located just half a mile from Miami International Airport and less than 10 minutes to downtown Miami, offers 318 rooms, 12,000 sq ft of meeting space, Complimentary Cooked-to-Order Breakfast, Evening Reception, In-Suite Dining, and Grill 305, featuring the finest steaks and casual Miami hotel dining. We seek a talented Chef with at least 4 years of supervisory/management experience, ready to elevate their career.

An Executive Chef & B directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage Departments, including Kitchen, Restaurants, Banquets, and Bars, maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. Responsible for all food planning, preparation, production, and control across all outlets and banquet facilities to meet Hilton's quality standards.

What will I be doing?
  1. Plan and direct the administration and planning functions of the Food & Beverage Department to meet daily operational needs.
  2. Describe, assign, and delegate responsibilities and authority for various food and beverage sub-departments, including monitoring and developing schedules to achieve profitable results.
  3. Assist with creating and merchandising attractive menus to attract target markets, establishing and achieving profit objectives, and setting standards for quality, service, cleanliness, and promotions to maximize profitability.
  4. Implement controls for food, beverage, and labor costs, monitor budgets, and ensure expenditures stay within limits, including achieving revenue and operational expense targets.
  5. Review guest satisfaction levels regularly, recommend operational and marketing adjustments as needed, and resolve food quality and service complaints.
  6. Develop operational tools and incidentals such as budgeting, forecasting, purchase specifications, recipes, menus, and food production controls with department heads.
  7. Ensure compliance with Hilton policies, procedures, and all relevant laws and regulations.
  8. Oversee hiring, training, supervision, development, discipline, and counseling of culinary and restaurant team members per Hilton policies.
  9. Monitor team performance, product quality, and workflow, fostering continuous improvement.
  10. Audit food storage and direct items to maintain quality and ensure health code adherence; enforce safety and cleanliness standards throughout kitchens.
  11. Lead special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
