Atlas Restaurant Group is seeking an Executive Chef to join our team at Mikimoto's.

Founded in 2010 with a deli in Baltimore's Harbor East, we have grown to 50 restaurant, bar, and entertainment concepts nationwide. Our guiding principles and core values inform our leadership and operations, aiming to deliver unparalleled entertainment experiences.

Role Overview: The Executive Chef ensures high standards of food quality and hygiene in the kitchen. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, creativity, proficiency in food preparation, labor control, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise all food preparation and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, and supervision.
  • Develop and modify menus to meet quality standards.
  • Control food and labor costs, monitor budgets, and meet financial goals.
  • Maintain inventory and oversee equipment repairs and purchases.
  • Address staffing issues promptly and fairly.
  • Perform administrative duties as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Leadership skills with high interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Commitment to high-quality food and service.
  • Proven mentoring skills with kitchen staff.
  • Knowledge of various cuisines and dietary requirements.
  • Dependability, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years high dining experience.
  • English proficiency; Spanish is a plus.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Certificates and Licenses:
  • Valid identification.
  • ServSafe certification.

Additional Information:

Position is full-time at a mid-senior level in management within the restaurant industry, based in Philadelphia, PA, with a salary range of $90,000 - $105,000 depending on location and experience.
