Minimum qualifications
  • Five (5) or more years of culinary experience in the hospitality industry
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to resolve customer and employee issues
  • Food handler's permit as required by law and company standards
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Possession of a valid driver's license; may require driving responsibilities
Role responsibilities
  • Oversee daily kitchen and dining operations and staffing
  • Drive a culture of hospitality, ensuring resident satisfaction
  • Manage interviewing, hiring, training, and performance of staff
  • Maintain budgets and inventory, ensuring procurement standards
  • Ensure food safety and legal compliance in food preparation and storage
  • Engage with residents and families to maintain high satisfaction levels
  • Coordinate with staff to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Work with leadership to meet satisfaction and health survey goals
  • Maintain documentation, reports, and invoices accurately
  • Promote employee satisfaction and engagement
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are upheld
  • Participate in departmental meetings and events
  • Oversee equipment use and maintenance
  • Assist in planning special events and meals
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote the community
  • Act as manager on duty as needed
