FutureTech is hiring an Executive Chef for a luxury hotel in Los Angeles. You will plan and execute menus for restaurants, banquets and room service while leading kitchen staff to deliver exceptional quality.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive knowledge of cuisines, and a passion for seasonal, trend-forward menus. Visa sponsorship and accommodation are provided, with a roundtrip travel allowance at contract start and end.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Exec Chef in a luxury restaurant or hotel.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong leadership and ability to develop a team.
• Excellent communication with guests and departments.
• Extensive knowledge of cuisines, techniques and presentation.

Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute all menu items for the hotels restaurants banquets and room service
• Develop creative and innovative menus that reflect current food trends and seasonal ingredients
• Train and manage kitchen staff ensuring high quality standards are met
• Oversee all aspects of food preparation including purchasing inventory control and food safety
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen to meet health code standards
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of food services throughout the hotel
• Stay updated on industry trends and constantly strive for improvement in all areas of the kitchen

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel setting
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Extensive knowledge of various cuisines cooking techniques and presentation styles
• Excellent communication skills to effectively work with other departments and guests
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
