Columbia Reach / Chiawana Orchards in Yakima, Washington, is seeking an experienced financial leader to join as Chief Financial Officer / VP of Finance. This executive will provide strategic and hands-on financial leadership across multiple entities, partnering with ownership and operational leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Approximately 7+ years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, accounting, and internal controls.
• Experience leading and developing accounting or finance teams.
• Experience with multi-entity organizations and working with owners/executives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with ownership and senior leadership on financial strategy and planning.
• Lead accounting and finance across multiple entities.
• Oversee timely and accurate financial reporting (monthly and year-end).
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
• Develop cash-flow forecasting and treasury management."
• Oversee banking relationships, financing, and lender reporting.
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to ownership.
• Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes.
• Oversee external financial relationships (auditors, CPAs, insurers).
• Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership and development for the finance team.
• Collaborate with operations on costs, risks, and opportunities.
• Support ownership with special projects and capital planning.
